I took a picture of the sign on the door at Hooters last night because I thought it strange. (Stranger yet is the fact that I was in a Hooters restaurant with two other 'mos, but that's another story.)
"Most Men"?
...The Ladies room said "All Women".
I'm sure whoever designed the sign meant it as cheeky,
but it's also a bit offensive, isn't it? If only
most men are allowed to use this restroom, who is excluded? Men of color? Men of short stature? Doubtful. Queer men? Presumably.
I didn't walk into a Hooters looking for high-brow cultural experience, but I also didn't expect to have to question if I was entitled to use the restroom.
... and the buffalo wings sucked.
