So, it's a "no" from Ellerbe and Becket. Actually, it's a "We have no immediate need for your skillset at this time"
I know I am, at times, a bit big for my britches... but I really did feel qualified and able of proving myself in that firm. This is a frustrating process that can make even the strongest of egos bend in the wind a bit. I'm trying to stay strong or proud or whatever the hell people keep telling me to stay, but frustration begs old habits and that makes me nervous. I'm also smart enough to know that I'll need to re-evaluate all of this at some point. Maybe I took a few steps in the wrong direction. Maybe I need to consider other ways of paying the bills while saving my soul from the corporate machine.
