COLLECTING THE NAMES OF THE PARANOID

The government is issuing a statement recommending that all Americans gather one month worth of provisions. On a new website, they are outlining ways in which people can prepare for disaster. -- http://www.codeready.org/ --

There is a hitch, however...Those who try to develop a "personal emergency plan" using the site are asked to fill in their names, ages, addresses and detailed medical information before they can proceed to the state's recommendations for personal and family preparedness. Health Commissioner Dianne Mandernach claims that the data will be erased once the user exits the site and will not be collected by the state.

This, of course, is complete and utter b.s. Why is the government pushing preparedness via a website that requires medical information be divulged?

Who's paranoid? I think you need to take a hard look in the mirror.
